Friends Partners with JCC Chabad of Long Island City-Astoria for a Sunday Morning of Gardening in Gantry Plaza State Park

Come join Friends of Gantry and the JCC Chabad of LIC-Astoria as we tend to the gardens of Gantry Plaza State Park.  We've added some Sunday gardening days to allow for all of our community to participate in the necessary work the volunteers do to keep the Park healthy, beautiful and flourishing.  Everyone is welcome to come and participate.   Meet up details and location will be sent closer to the volunteer date when we determine which area of the park requires the most attention at the time.

To volunteer for any work in Gantry Plaza State Park
Everyone who wishes to volunteer in Gantry Plaza State Park needs to print out and complete a Volunteer Service Agreement located here and bring it to a meeting prior to or with them on the day of the event.  This form needs to be completed by volunteers only once per calendar year.

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, wear sunscreen, bring a hat and water.
