HWKN, the winner of this year's Young Architects Program, present the second session of a two-part panel series at MoMA PS1 that allows the public to gain a deeper understanding of Wendy.

What is that big blue star and how does it stand? Matthias Hollwich and Marc Kushner (principals, HWKN) moderate a panel discussion to discuss how Wendy came to look the way she does and how there is more than meets the eye beneath that blue fabric surface. Panelists include the structural engineers that helped devise the Wendy star, construction experts that reinvented how to conceive of standard scaffolding, and the team that made sure Wendy stays secure in the ground and can handle a Hurricane Wendy.
